These terms cover your use of Permanent Index. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What Permanent Index is
Permanent Index is a curation layer for music. You build collections and playlists at public URLs and annotate them. It is not a streaming, distribution, licensing, or payment service, and it does not host audio. Links to other services point outward.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up. You must be at least 16 to use the service.
Your content and ownership
You own the collections you build and the notes you write. You grant us only the permission needed to store your content and display it as part of the service, including publicly where you have chosen to make it public. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. You can export your work at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not use Permanent Index to break the law, to post content you have no right to post, to harass or impersonate others, or to attack, scrape, or overload the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that do.
Music metadata
Release, recording, and artist information is drawn from MusicBrainz, and cover art from the Cover Art Archive, used under their respective terms. We are not affiliated with them.
The service is provided as is
Permanent Index is offered without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.
Ending your use
You can stop using Permanent Index and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and the European Union.
Changes
We may update these terms; we will update the date above when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
